The Ashes Exhibition Sat 01 – Tue 11.08.09
A unique exhibition containing some of the most outstanding and fascinating pieces of Yorkshire and Ashes cricketing memorabilia in existence today will be on display at Leeds City Museum from Saturday 1st –Tuesday 11th August 2009.
The exhibition will focus around the replica Ashes Urn as held aloft by past Ashes Winners, items from famous Ashes Test Matches over the years, especially those featuring Bradman, Boycott and Botham as well as a selection of unique items from the Yorkshire County Cricket Club Archive, some of which have never before been seen on public display.
The Museum is also delighted to be hosting a number of book-launches, further details of which can be found in the event section of the site.
Entry to Leeds City Museum is free of charge. This is an event not to be missed!
